Brand activations,
on someone else's site
Circuits, beachfront lawns, mall atriums, stadium forecourts. We plan, build and run activations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar — concept through strike, under one contract, with a producer on site for the duration.
The site is never yours
A conference happens in a room you have booked. An activation happens somewhere that belongs to someone else and was not designed for you — a circuit with a race schedule, a lawn with an irrigation plan, a mall with trading hours and a fire officer. The site's rules decide what is possible long before the creative does.
So the first thing we do is read the site, not the deck: access windows, power and water, weight and rigging limits, what the venue will not allow at any price. Then the idea is shaped to fit, rather than discovered to be impossible a week out.
- Brief
Audience, objective and budget agreed on one page, with the measure of success named before anything is designed.
- Site
Survey and access: load-in window, power, ground protection, rigging limits, neighbours, and the venue's own rules and approved contractors.
- Design
Build drawings, dressing and content plan, specified by us and priced by the contractors who will deliver it.
- Build
Often overnight, always against the venue's clock. Our producer is on the ground for it, not reading updates.
- Run days
Crew briefed before call time, a run sheet per day, and one point of contact for the venue, the brand and the suppliers.
- Strike
Out inside the window, site returned as found, supplier reconciliation and a wrap report against the measure set at the brief.
We hold the site, the schedule and the contract. The specialists hold the tools.
Axiora Events owns no rigging, no vehicles and no field staffing roster, and that is deliberate. Riggers, technicians, hosts and caterers are appointed for the job in hand, briefed to your standards, and directed on site by our producer. On a venue with an approved supplier list, that flexibility is the difference between a build that clears and a build that does not.
An outdoor build — Dubai, January 2023
A beachfront lawn turned into a day out and an evening show: stage and truss, screens, activity zones, catering seating, and a changeover between the two.
Before you ask us
What counts as an activation?
Anything built in a place your audience is already going to be, for long enough to be worth building: a circuit paddock, a beachfront lawn, a mall atrium, a stand outside a stadium. The common thread is that the site belongs to someone else, and their rules decide what is possible.
How long does an activation take to build?
The build is rarely the constraint. Site access is. Most venues give a load-in window measured in hours, often overnight, and the whole schedule is designed backwards from it. Tell us the site and the dates and we will tell you what fits in the window.
Do you provide the brand ambassadors and crew?
We appoint and direct them. Staffing, hosts, riggers and technicians come from specialist suppliers selected for the job, briefed to your standards before call time, and run on site by our producer. Axiora employs no field staffing roster of its own.
Can you work inside a venue that has its own contractors?
Yes, and most large sites do. Circuits, malls and hotels hold approved supplier lists, exclusivity on rigging or power, and their own health-and-safety regime. Working inside those rules rather than against them is most of the job.
How do you measure whether it worked?
Agreed before the build, not after: footfall and dwell, samples or sign-ups, content captured, and cost per interaction against the frame set at the brief. The wrap report reconciles those against what was spent.
Tell us the site.
We'll tell you what fits.
